When the Houston Texans signed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to a five-year, $114 million contract in 1986, the franchise was at its peak.
That team, led by future Hall of Famer Kevin McHale, had the league’s best record, finishing second to the Miami Heat.
Houston’s success led to a wave of new superstars, including Yao Ming and Shaquille O’Neal.
In just six seasons, the Rockets won four NBA championships.
But in recent years, the team has lost more than $200 million.
The NBA’s annual salary cap is projected to jump by $70 million in 2018, to $106 million, according to an analysis by SportsBusiness Journal.
That could make the Rockets salary cap even higher, and it will be harder for Houston to sign free agents.
The team’s problems aren’t unique to the Houston area, but the problems are especially pronounced in the Houston metro area, where there are a lot of high-profile sports franchises.
That has created a financial strain on the city’s struggling sports teams, and has led to some of the highest-paid players in the NBA, such as Yao Ming.
According to Forbes magazine, the average NBA salary for a star is $10 million.
This means that the average star has to make $12 million to play in the league.
That means that if a player can make $7 million, he could make $15 million.
And if the player is signed by another team, his salary jumps to $13 million.
That would mean that a star would have to earn about $17 million to make it into the NBA.
This is not good enough for the Houston sports teams.
Houston is currently the sixth-largest city in the US, with a population of 2.3 million.
To make ends meet, Houston has had to build sports facilities, and is also paying the salaries of coaches and players.
The city’s problems also affect the city of Houston.
Houston was once home to the Texas Instruments Corporation, a major semiconductor company, and today the city is home to many other large companies that rely on the oil and gas industry for their operations.
Houston also has been a hotbed of political and business corruption.
As of March 2017, the city was ranked the ninth-most corrupt in the country.
The state of Texas has also been known to levy a $2,000 fine on a hotel for every $1,000 of revenue it collects in taxes.
That money is then funneled to the governor’s mansion.
The governor is also known to have donated $1 million to the city, which he is currently facing impeachment.
According a 2016 investigation by the Houston Chronicle, the mayor is also the biggest donor to the Democratic Party in the city.
“The mayor is a political tool, not a politician,” said Eric Gomes, the director of the Houston-based Institute for Governmental Studies.
“He’s very good at keeping Houston politically aligned with his political interests, and I think that’s something that we have to take very seriously.”
The city also faces a number of health issues.
There is a rising rate of tuberculosis in Houston.
According the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about one-third of the city has the disease.
There are also concerns about the prevalence of diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and asthma among its residents.
Many of these issues have been blamed on a rise in prescription drug prices, which have been linked to the higher costs of care.
A recent study by the Texas Department of State Health Services found that nearly one-fifth of Houston residents live below the poverty line, which means that their health care costs are high.
In 2017, there were about 5.8 million Texans living below the federal poverty level, according the US Census Bureau.
In the past year, the number of uninsured Texans has more than doubled.
The high costs of healthcare has led many to opt out of health insurance entirely.
That is also putting strain on Houston’s parks, which often have been among the citys best spots for recreational and outdoor activities.
For many of the most popular parks in Houston, the facilities are often overcrowded and unsafe, according a 2015 report by the Center for Science in the Public Interest.
According for example, the parks at The Meadows, where the Houston Astros play, and at the Houston Aquarium, which is located in the Gulf Coast city of Port Aransas, have recently been closed due to health issues, as well as the nearby Memorial Park.
In June 2017, several people died after falling from the sky in the Memorial Park in Port Arago.
A second death in the park occurred on July 15, when a man fell from the top of the Memorial Peak, a 2,400-foot mountain in the state of Louisiana.
The deaths of these people have led many in the community to believe that the parks are unsafe, and that people are not being taken seriously in regards to safety.
