The Big 12 announced its first bracket Tuesday night, with the conference announcing the conference champion will face the champion of the Big East.
Baylor’s first game of the season will be on Saturday in the Big 12 Tournament semifinals, with Texas and TCU both slated to play in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
Baylor has won its last three games.
TCU has not played since Feb. 12 and is 3-5 in its last six games.
The Bears have lost to Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Texas Tech.
TCU, ranked No. 16 in the preseason AP Top 25, is on a two-game winning streak, which is its longest since a seven-game run in 2013-14.
