Posted On July 10, 2021
The Oklahoma Sooners (10-4, 7-3 Big 12) will be looking to close out the regular season at home against Baylor (10/2) on Saturday, September 9.
The Sooners will be playing their first game of the season since the loss to Oklahoma State, which ended their season.
The Oklahoma State loss was a major blow to the Sooners season, as the Sooner’s winning streak was cut to six games.
This game could have very easily ended the season for the Soonners, and now the team will be facing a Baylor team that has won the Big 12 Conference title four times.
Oklahoma is a top-10 team in the country heading into the season.
Baylor was also a top 10 team last season, and they have been looking for a win at home.
This will be their third meeting with the Soonors in 2017.
The Bears were the No. 2 seed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament and will play their second game in Norman.
The Bears are coming off a bye week, which is a big boost to their season as they look to stay undefeated and make it into the Final Four.
They are coming into this game looking to get back on track after losing to the Longhorns in the Big XII Tournament on the road in the NCAA Tournament.
The Baylor game is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
ET on ESPN.
This is a prime time for the Longhorn fans to watch this game on their televisions and get the rest of the weekend ready for their matchup with Oklahoma.
