What will NBA teams say to LeBron James if he signs with the Cavaliers?

When LeBron James was asked about his future in Cleveland, he was noncommittal.
“I don’t know yet,” he said.
“You’ll have to wait and see.
It depends on the NBA.
If they want to move me somewhere else, I will, but I’m going to make sure I’m here until the end of the year.
If not, I’m not going anywhere.”
But then, he seemed to be speaking about a new team.
“If I’m a Cavalier, I want to play for a great organization and I want a great team.
I’m looking forward to coming here and playing with great people and great fans.
And that’s what I want,” James said.”
But I have to understand, when I was coming here to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers, they were going to be a great basketball team.
And when I came to Cleveland, I said, I’ll go there and play with them.
So if I have a new organization that wants me to be here, I’d like to play there, too.””
You’ll be the only one who’ll say I’m leaving,” he added.
But now that he has an offer to leave the Cavaliers, there is speculation he could leave for a new franchise.
“There are a lot of rumors out there,” he told Al Jazeera, “but I’m focused on my basketball career.”
In a league with no cap, LeBron James may want to consider leaving Cleveland.

“I think the only way you’ll ever get a franchise in the NBA is if they sign you to a long-term contract.
And I think you’ll get a long, long time.
And if they do that, they’ll be in the top four teams in the league.
So that would be a dream come true.”
James would also love to play in the UK.
“Obviously, I love the UK, so I’d love to come here.
It’s the best league, the best fans, the biggest crowds.
And the best atmosphere I’ve ever been a part of.”
But it is also where he believes he can best compete with the best.
“With the UK and the best basketball fans in the world, I feel I could be a very, very good player,” he says.
James has a point, he is right.
But, like the rest of us, we mustn’t forget that his team will be his, and that the way he plays will decide the outcome.
